Keith's Spitfire Armrest Stands Out

Your armrest says a lot about you AND your Spitfire.

Armrests catch the eye, whether it's yours or just browsing

Take a look at Keith's armrest. Smooth, straight, smart... cared for. Just from that armrest, I would expect the wiring to be tidy, the engine tuned and the doors will shut effortlessly. Park it up outside a cafe or at a car show and it would stand out.

Spitfire armrests take a pounding. They steady us when we get in, they support us when we're getting out. They're leant on when the hood comes comes down and again when rain forces the hood back up.

Small wonder that so many look like the mice have been at them! Holes picked in the foam or gaffer tape for those who don't want it to look too bad.

It's a shame because a neat armrest lifts the whole interior AND the Spitfire armrest kit is a pleasure to fit, even for beginners.

If your armrest has had a hard life then be like Keith, and give it some love with a retrim this weekend.

Cheers, Owen
